DISNEYLAND?!!!?

When I had my surgery, I had to take time off work to recover, so I thought what better way to recover then to go to the happiest place on earth? And since I have a friend who has invited me down for like a year now, I decided to take the opportunity to go and get in for free!! (cause he has a friend who works there) (as micky mouse himself! shh don't tell or you'll ruin the magic) So my friend Heather and I flew down, Joe (to the left) picked us up and drove us around and we stayed at his house. It was altogether the perfect trip.

Ka-chow! in memory of Caleb
I was going to buy this shirt... but uh, I don't have one. - a beast that is

on a ride
We sat and watched Mary Poppins and Bert while we ate corndogs and I loved Bert and Joe loved Mary. His expressions were so animated and I couldn't tear my eyes away
This isn't scandalous I promise. my foot just got a twitch at the end
This is in the haunted tower where the elevator drops and Joe said there was a girl behind this wall calling out. so we listened and heard. it's from a twilight zone or something of the sort.
Whenever I got a chance I would elevate the wrist... throbbing was not enough to tear me awayWe called this our engagement picture just cause we were being cheesy. and holding a cup. and it's the perfect place.
Towards the end of the day we loved the fireworks behind the castle. But my favorite part was the show called Fantasmic! Characters came to life in Mickey's imagination where good had to overcome evil. Pure magic and inspirational! Seriously, it was awesome

Our tired feet at the end of a 13 hour day at Disneyland!!!
The next day we magically got into an Angels/White Sox game. Also enjoyable

In the evening we went to the beach and loved it

And the Newport Temple. Oh we went here Sunday night cause what else do you do on Sunday?

A girl we were talking to was telling us all the things we should have done and where we should have eaten. Sprinkles was one of them. It's all the rage. All the celebrities are loving it and there's always a line... Anyways, not much of a line at 10:00 on a Monday morn. They were tasty. I do love a good cupcake.
And I love the ocean!!!
At the airport getting ready to come home. I love Heather. She is so fun and funny and yet chill and enjoyable. The perfect traveling companion!

Wrist

I had wrist surgery on Sept 2 because a doctor found a tear in my wrist cartilage in a mri I had taken in 2006. Oupatient wrist arthroscopy. Turns out, after they got in there, they discovered my cartilage was entirely healthy so there was nothing to repair. They did remove some excess scar tissue and synovial fluid so they hope that will fix the problem that has been pestering me for years. I hope so.. So this was like a half hour after I got home. I'm omiting the pic mom took of me bending over the bathroom counter half fainting holding a bowl wanting so badly to puke.

These are my favorite color roses that Nick and A gave me to stare at while lying in bed for 3 straight days. Also, Nick was very good to me and obeying my every whim... haha (also fat fingers)

This is after I got to remove the bandage 4 days later. looks quite deformed eh?

After I recovered enough to actually shower, I ran away to Utah so I could lay around with Kal instead of by myself. We went to dinner at the Brick Oven and we were all EXcited!

This is what it looks like right now!

summer is fun

On Saturday I went with my friend Heather ( in the purple) and her friends and floated the Lava River. Then we kissed frogs in a shop...
Last Wednesday we took a quick trip to Lagoon. I found this giant tooth in pioneer village and thought it ironic that I was eating a giant ice cream cone. It was dead hot but birthday cake flavor did the trick!

I really was actually happy. Just the guy running it was creepy and I was making this faceBumper cars! are fun!
This is Brian and Kassie. In case any of you ever need faces with names.

Also last week we went to Big Juds. I've been there once on a date like 8 years ago and ate a quarter of the lb burger. This time we just ordered separate and I have to say it was delish. Wendy, Heather, Me... We are HAPPY! haha. and close...

Yeah I went to Washington!

Just a couple highlights and more to follow... I'm already slow because I went to Washington with Nick and my friend Katie Aug 6-9. We had a great time visiting Grandma and Grandpa Inman (thanks again!) and lots of cousins that we never get to see along with their adorable children. And if we didn't get to see you, we apologize - it was such a quick trip! And we are sad about it, but we love you. This first pic was in front of where I wanted to ride a ferry, but it just didn't happen. something about not enough time??? lame
We also attended the Undergroud Tour, which was mostly new info to us. We'd heard a bit about it like a day before we came and decided to give it a shot. It was fun to do, but I don't know if I would recommend it if you only have one day in Seattle...
But I guess they invented the Crapper. Er Thomas Crapper invented the crapper... and this was an original? Or maybe just a pretty one

We also had a Fantastic time on our very first sailboat ride! We posed a bit and Elisa and Jeremy were so kind as to invite us to go, and I do believe we were all learning together... The water was beautiful and we even had a little seal friend

2 in one day!

At the carnival, we spotted the A&W bear and his helper... (haha) He had also been in the parade and I loved him but he didn't throw me any A&W barrells. :( So, I simply had no choice but to chase after him calling "A&W bear! How bout a hug?" the helper liked it...
Little did anyone like me know, but Soda Springs has the only capped geiser... west of the mississippi? I can't remember, but it's one of few. every half hour they open it up and it sprays 22 stories high. cool huh? We got to see all the cool stuff.
what's Independence Day without a few sparklers? with a slow shudder speed?
ok, saving the best for last. This is by far the coolest part of the day. Katie and I wanted a sno-cone, but all the shacks were shut down for the day. So we went to Broulim's to find a vold vreat. or cold treat. But on the way in we spotted these and didn't turn back. They're doughnuts shaped as hotdogs!!! it's like the thrill and fun of a hot dog but not the gagging flavor. Oh they were delightful. and we took a lot of pics, but these are my fave.
you got a little... right... (finger pointing)
don't judge the eyebrows

Summer?

We scored some free tickets to Joseph and the amazing technicolor dreamcoat at the civic auditorium in Idaho Falls! We are lucky. This is me, Katie (my roommate), and her/my friend Sam. So fun. Not the best performance I've seen, but their voices were alright...

This is the very first pedicure I have ever had professionally. Adorable eh? My old roommate Jenny and I went on a Saturday to the new Asian place in town. Rexburg is really moving up in the world.

For the 4th, I went with my friend Heather Summers (Left) to her home in Soda Springs. Right when we got into town on Friday evening, we stopped to see her mom and get tickets to the community play, Hello Dolly. Which by the way was way good and fun. Except Dolly. She was a bit old and was losing her pitch, but the whole affair was quite charming. So, while we're inside we hear pelting hail and we look outside and scream. But we were already running late so we ran for our lives (like a whole 15 feet) and when we got in the car it was like we'd jumped in a lake. The other girls had hoods... But I was damp the rest of the night. Even took my socks off to air out in the theatre, but could never warm up. Anyways, also the roads were flooding and I didn't know if little carry could handle it. I've never been in hail like that. And then, like 5 minutes later, it was a sunshiney day so we took pictures of what was left on the road. BTW, Wendy is in the middle. She came too.

Oh so fun Inman Reunion.

Wallowa Lake, Oregon. I went on a walk with my Caleb in the rain! But it was starting to let up about this time. for a few hours...
I was in charge of the morning aerobics. In the end, we just stretched really good. Sydney was the best at following my stretching lead.

The closest town was called Joseph, and this picture with my grandma was taken in memory of Joseph Ramirez- my cousin on a mission.

And this is one of the very few times Max would let me hold him without screaming bloody murder. He has a bit of what we call a parent-anti-separation problem. He did love that river though- and it was fast and loud and right out our back yard. Overall we had a grand stay in the mountains of Oregon where I didn't even have cell phone reception! Family is fun and a good get-away was well needed.
