Would you look at this!

Look who decided to update her blog! I finally made my new laptop from Thanksgiving work! Something about a pop-up window disabled. I'm brilliant. This is just some news of a recent road trip we took. Nick, me, Heather, Brian. Heather had a house in St George made available to use so we ran with it. Cruised on down to Vegas and since I hate Vegas I made them say we could watch a show. And Lion King it was! It was seriously amazing and definitely worth it!
After Las Vegas, a cleansing of the soul is recommended. So, we did a session in the St. George Temple!
Oh this is the m&m factory/place in Las Vegas. So many colors!
This is mostly for A. Hugest onion rings ever. And the shake was a mini. It was at Iceberg. It hit the spot man.

Then on the coldest day they've seen in months, we decided to visit Zion's National Park. There were still some good sights to see and driving through caves to be done. That little window is a window in the tunnel we drove through. Over a mile long!
Such beautiful scenery!!! I had to pose in my model shot...

And here we are running down a hill. cool huh? Yeah, we actually got out and hiked a bit in the bitter cold and hail. Great trip. good times.

Sorry it wouldn't flip for some reason... But Katie and I dressed up during the day just for fun and cause we had the stuff...
and we went out to eat at Five Guys. Can you see the pink lips on the burger? yum
People would not stop staring. Even when I stared back- they never looked away. awkward
This was at my party I had at my dental office basement. We watched a movie on the projector and surround sound
And here's some of the group that actually dressed up! I have cool friends...

Halloween!!!!

The day started with some fabulous pumpkin pancakes shaped as witches hats and pumpkins

and spiders!

This was the food we made in the day for the party at night! It was a hit

This is bones and blood!

And fingers (cheesesticks)

and oreo spiders

oooooh witchy woman

Thanks to Grandma for this FABulous witch's hat! I found the rest to match the hat... This was for fhe on Mon ward combined single adult activity. The dressing up was fun. The party wasn't so much.

But this guy was gettin down on those donuts on a string! One of my favorite events!

And there was also a toilet paper roll throw. And supergirl was running it.

So I got a picture with her. and a monkey. I don't even know who they are... haha

Early Halloween celebrations!

This is Toni and Heather's expressions when they first experienced the beauty of the Arctic Circle pumpkin cookie dough shake. Oh it's marvelous...
And 4 girls and 1 boy went to the Haunted Mill. Boy was it SCARY!!! haha. I was either in the front or the back the whole time cause I'm so brave! Remember how I'm already jumpy. My heart was racing! Check out my Halloweenism by wearing a purple spider ring and having black and orange french nails! haha. more to follow.
And here we have the mad decorating skills of yours truly. I haven't really decorated for Halloween in ages. Back in the day when we used to dress up our stuffed animals in our old baby dress up costumes... haha. This is just a small sample. Ps. Em contributed some of her adorables and also made me this BOO decor. Thanks em!

Another example of my humor that maybe only I get a kick out of. Hard to say.

But here is the true art of perhaps my personal day I took for myself yesterday. Cleaned, made pumpkin cookies, and painted nails. What more could a girl want on a Saturday?

DISNEYLAND?!!!?

When I had my surgery, I had to take time off work to recover, so I thought what better way to recover then to go to the happiest place on earth? And since I have a friend who has invited me down for like a year now, I decided to take the opportunity to go and get in for free!! (cause he has a friend who works there) (as micky mouse himself! shh don't tell or you'll ruin the magic) So my friend Heather and I flew down, Joe (to the left) picked us up and drove us around and we stayed at his house. It was altogether the perfect trip.

Ka-chow! in memory of Caleb
I was going to buy this shirt... but uh, I don't have one. - a beast that is

on a ride
We sat and watched Mary Poppins and Bert while we ate corndogs and I loved Bert and Joe loved Mary. His expressions were so animated and I couldn't tear my eyes away
This isn't scandalous I promise. my foot just got a twitch at the end
This is in the haunted tower where the elevator drops and Joe said there was a girl behind this wall calling out. so we listened and heard. it's from a twilight zone or something of the sort.
Whenever I got a chance I would elevate the wrist... throbbing was not enough to tear me awayWe called this our engagement picture just cause we were being cheesy. and holding a cup. and it's the perfect place.
Towards the end of the day we loved the fireworks behind the castle. But my favorite part was the show called Fantasmic! Characters came to life in Mickey's imagination where good had to overcome evil. Pure magic and inspirational! Seriously, it was awesome

Our tired feet at the end of a 13 hour day at Disneyland!!!
The next day we magically got into an Angels/White Sox game. Also enjoyable

In the evening we went to the beach and loved it

And the Newport Temple. Oh we went here Sunday night cause what else do you do on Sunday?

A girl we were talking to was telling us all the things we should have done and where we should have eaten. Sprinkles was one of them. It's all the rage. All the celebrities are loving it and there's always a line... Anyways, not much of a line at 10:00 on a Monday morn. They were tasty. I do love a good cupcake.
And I love the ocean!!!
At the airport getting ready to come home. I love Heather. She is so fun and funny and yet chill and enjoyable. The perfect traveling companion!

Wrist

I had wrist surgery on Sept 2 because a doctor found a tear in my wrist cartilage in a mri I had taken in 2006. Oupatient wrist arthroscopy. Turns out, after they got in there, they discovered my cartilage was entirely healthy so there was nothing to repair. They did remove some excess scar tissue and synovial fluid so they hope that will fix the problem that has been pestering me for years. I hope so.. So this was like a half hour after I got home. I'm omiting the pic mom took of me bending over the bathroom counter half fainting holding a bowl wanting so badly to puke.

These are my favorite color roses that Nick and A gave me to stare at while lying in bed for 3 straight days. Also, Nick was very good to me and obeying my every whim... haha (also fat fingers)

This is after I got to remove the bandage 4 days later. looks quite deformed eh?

After I recovered enough to actually shower, I ran away to Utah so I could lay around with Kal instead of by myself. We went to dinner at the Brick Oven and we were all EXcited!

This is what it looks like right now!
