My birthday treats!

Some people just know the way to make my birthday! A made these beautiful oreo cupcakes and Ma made me a s'more cake! Oh how I love oreos and s'mores. Thanks guys! Also, these are basically the only pics I took for my birthday. So I guess they are the most important.

Katie Ashcraft is a super friend. She made me a Superman cake! and brought it over early cause she's going to be out of town on my birthday weekend (this weekend). so great!

Happy Valentine's Day (what can I say? I'm holiday oriented)

Happy singles awareness day! (so some call it) We had a reunion! 4 girls who once roomed together as freshman roomates at BYU-Idaho! I am a dental hygienist currently residing in Rexburg, ID, Mauri Lish here is very pregnant with her first child (she is married) (but has since had the babe), Lacey Gilbert is working in Provo, UT and Mary Corn is a dental hygienist in Boise, ID- soon to be moving to Provo to finish some pre-reqs before attending dental school!

Then, just last Wed-Fri, I traveled to Salt Lake with my Rexburg office to attend an annual dental convention. Thursday night we went to the Jazz game (against the Celtics) but everyone was so tired at 10:15 (half-time) that we left. Lame. But seriously, I got dizzy and sick from being so far up. You know, heights. I never knew that it'd get to me, but it was straight down!And for those of you who are interested in this last one. I snapped a few shots at the game- some ugs of me I didn't post- but left is Dr. Wilkes, then Jason (hygienist), and Dana (front desk girl)

Happy New Year!!!

We had a new year's party! Not that exciting, yet exciting. Nick moved in with my friends. Weird. But the party was altogether.
Nothing like a little sparkling cider to set the mood. (I don't even like the stuff)

And this was supposed to be me. They made me perform guitar hero and everyone stopped what they were doing to watch. It was almost embarrassing. But Nick didn't find my camera in time and then the song was over so he jumped in. So I just took a picture of him... There's like 7 other people you can't see.

Christmas!

talk about bling. But this is just proof that Rhya finally liked me! She'd run to me and laugh and not cry if I looked at her.
and this is Christmas Eve. Ma and I both got pjs special to open the night before. Spec. and not sure if you can see or not but my shirt has a candy cane that lights up when it moves... let's just say sugar plums weren't the only think keeping me awake that night.

And to update about the sunglasses in the napping picture below, I had PRK eye surgery on the 19, so my Christmas was very relaxing. The first couple days my eyes were pretty painful and I couldn't open them much, but after that I did ok. They're still a bit blurry now, but it's supposed to slowly get better every day for about a month. The beauty of not having a cornea thick enough for lasik! These are the plastic shields that i got to wear the whole first day and at night for the first week. the tape was fun to pick off my face
