I went to Florida!!!

and Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi, and Alabama- but let's just focus on the beauty called Pensacola Beach, Florida.

Aah, nothing like feeling the sweet white sand between the toes...



And ate right on the beach at this crab place, but these were actually gross. But fun to play with? The real crab legs were better...

Also went on a boat ride to see dolphins in their natural habitat! And viewed the lighthouse that is haunted and not in operation...
And also got to witness this stunning sunset


If you look real close you can make out a real live dolphin. They were kind of lame. Didn't jump up and do flips and sorts. Just popped their heads up in their so called 'pods'. But they were pretty close to our ship and it was a fun ride on the ocean anyway.

Orchestra 'rents and bunny cake heaven

Ma and Pa performed in the Firth Community Orchestra a week ago. What a bunch of champs.
And yesterday! Happy Easter. And it's not Easter without a pink bunny cake sprinkled by children.

And Here's my final quilt result I made all by myself when my mom was gone to Nauvoo. Aunt Dawn quilted it (!) And it's on my wall for now.

This is the one and only day Nick graduated from BYU-I with a bachelor's of science in exercise physiology. Looks about right...

March flew by

So- this was a while ago, but the first weekend of March, we had a sista vaca as we called it. Just a getaway down to Utah with the sisters and mama. So fun.... and I had a birthday!
They threw me a little surprise b-day party complete with a cupcake cake and presents. Very nice

And THEN, on my real birthday, I had a real surprise birthday party I had no clue about. At this point, I had a terrible headache from all the surprise and happy people, but why not have one bite of ice cream?

From that dinner I made the other week? Well, I don't recommend this. But sometimes I tend to be a bit forgetful. And we couldn't smell it cause it was trapped in the bread box. But I'll tell you what. Sick. and Disgusting...

V-day and food

We had a family dinner last Sunday and I brought everyone Superman Valentine's that actually had tattoos in every one. So I promptly tattooed everyone.
This is chicken parmesan from Kallie's recipe. Oh it was divine...
