Turns out, we left Rexburg at 5:30 Friday, the roads were complete ice, it was foggy, and just all over terrible driving conditions. Jake wanted to pull over for a quick prayer just after we left since we forgot to before we took off. But we were past Ashton, going up the steep hill, and we were brought to a stop. Sat there for about 10-15 and then the boys got out to go see what was going on. There was an accident involving a car towing a car, a semi coming across the lane, and hitting 2 other cars. That could have totally been us we were about 10 cars behind the accident. After sitting for quite a bit later (I lose all track of time when sitting 3 people in the back of a small car) we decided to wait it out at Big Judd's in Ashton. There were decisions dragged on if we should head back home or get to it, and there were rumors of the road opening, so we trudged on. There were like 4 full cars/trucks. 2 turned back. 2 went on. I guess I was feeling adventurous. Sat in the (new driving arrangements) truck for another bit. Made it finally to the cabin just after 11! What a good bonding experience? Needless to say, we passed the meeting and the bishopric went to bed, and we went snowmobiling. Yes, we didn't go there for nothing. We went from like 12-2 ish? But that's another story for another day. But the cabin was awesome. I went last year too and wanted to rent it out for our Inman reunion. But the Bishop wouldn't even be very clear on specific reservation dates that far in advance. And since we're not really doing that anymore anyway, this is what we missed out on:

Snow, though terrible and cold and a mess to drive in, can actually be fun
